Merge game is a project that I embarked on after playing my-suica, an addictive game hosted on mobile platforms. When I played the game, I felt myself losing track of time while also feeling frustrated by the lack of techniques and mechanics offered. This project served as an outlet to explore creative options that can make the game more enjoyable and sustainable.
To reach my gaol, I wanted to keep the animations and graphics as simple as possible so that my users would feel more interactive in the game. I aim not to succeed the original game but rather expose the possibilities the game can offer in the future. I started a specific game that I was acquaintant to: Tetris. I envisioned a combination of two or more games that can attract a braoder audience.
I used Unity Engine to create the game.
